To support employment among older Ukrainians, the government is launching a national adult internship program called “Experience Matters” for people aged 50 and older.

The program consists of three key stages:

1. Training and preparation for a new career stage — updating resumes, adapting to current labor market demands, and acquiring practical skills.

2. Meeting with an employer and discussing the terms of cooperation.

3. Employment or a short-term internship at a company with the possibility of employment, during which the candidate familiarizes themselves with the work process, and the employer can assess their suitability for the position.
