Since the opening of the agricultural land market in July 2021, more than 330,000 purchase and sale agreements have been concluded in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Economy.

The total area of land that has changed ownership during this time has reached 1 million hectares.

The average price per hectare of land has increased by 96% since the market was launched and stands at over UAH 64,000 per hectare at the beginning of 2026. The leader in terms of the number of deals concluded is the Sumy region, where over 32,000 land plots have been sold. Poltava and Chernihiv regions are also among the regions with the most active markets.
