DoD Solution and DefSecIntel Will Develop AI-Based Drone Countermeasure Systems
The Estonian-Ukrainian company DoD Solution and the Estonian company DefSecIntel Solutions have agreed to a strategic partnership in the field of drone detection and interception. The memorandum was signed on September 9 during the MSPO 2026 exhibition in Kielce, Poland.
As part of the partnership, DefSecIntel’s EIRSHIELD system — which provides multi-level drone detection and AI-based control — is set to be integrated with DoD Solution’s AURA AI autonomy platform and AURA SBC onboard computer.
AURA AI enables visual navigation of unmanned aerial vehicles, terminal guidance, and autonomous mission execution, particularly in the absence of GPS and under the influence of electronic warfare systems.
The companies plan to conduct joint tests and demonstrations in Ukraine, Estonia, and other European countries, as well as consider participating in international tenders and programs. In addition to military applications, the integrated solutions can be used for border security, critical infrastructure protection, public safety, and emergency response.
The partnership combines Ukraine’s experience in developing autonomous systems with European technologies for multi-layered drone countermeasures and could strengthen the integration of Ukrainian defense tech into the European defense ecosystem.
