Water supply systems for nearly 30,000 residents are nearing completion in the Dnipropetrovsk region

In the southern part of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the construction of new water supply and wastewater systems is entering its final stage. Once the facilities are put into operation, nearly 30,000 residents of 49 communities — who lost a reliable water source following the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in 2023 — will receive a stable water supply.

The Ministry of Energy Proposes Transferring the Property of Liquidated Mines to Local Communities to Attract Investors

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has prepared a draft law that would allow the transfer, free of charge, of the surface property of coal and uranium mines currently in the process of liquidation from state to municipal ownership. The initiative aims to create conditions for attracting businesses and transforming former mines into new industrial sites.
