The Ukrainian agricultural sector continues to face a severe labor shortage. Although 83% of agricultural companies planned to increase employee salaries by 10–20% in 2026, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find tractor operators, drivers, engineers, and grain elevator workers.
Starting October 1, 2026, full labeling requirements for food and animal feed will be reinstated in Ukraine. Manufacturers and importers must provide mandatory information in the official language and ensure that the labeling accurately reflects the actual composition of the products.
Ukrainian communities have identified the key barriers to European integration: a lack of funding, a shortage of personnel, and a lack of prepared projects.
